London Stansted airport has released a report on items confiscated from travellers attempting to board planes which reveals a general lack of knowledge of the regulations.

27% of people say they have had items confiscated more than once

28% of people do not realise that water counts as a liquid

60% of people think incorrectly that cans of baked beans may be brought on board

The top five items on the list of most bizarre items confiscated from passengers are:

1. Crustaceans

2. Love cuffs

3. Human body fat

4. Live goldfish in a sweet jar

5. A machete.
