St CLARE of Assisi (1194?-1253)

A follower of St Francis of Assisi, St Clare once saw a vision as though it was projected on her bedroom wall.

For that miracle, she was declared patron saint of television in 1958.
She is also patron saint of embroiderers, eye disease, eyes, gilders, goldsmiths, gold workers, good weather, laundry workers, needle workers, telegraphs, telephones and television writers.
