COLORADO

Between the years 1992 and 1994, the town of Avon, Colorado, held an annual Bobfest for people named Bob.

In 1995, however, the series ended.

Its founder and organiser, Tom Britz, announced that he was tired of running it.

'I met one bad Bob,' he said, 'and it spoiled the bunch.'
